SkillsUSA Championships are held on two
levels. There is a group of contests that are State Only
and another group that are State and National.
State
Only Contests include several categories such as: Action
Skills; Leadership; and Skilled and Technical. The Action
Skills Contests are: Basic Woodworking Skills, Case
Studies, Fast Food Services, Full Service Auto, Interview
Competencies, Restaurant Services, and Safety
Presentation. The Leadership Contests include: Center
Piece - Craft, Center Piece - Floral, Creative
Photography, Essay, Scrapbook, Suitcase and SkillsUSA
Courtesy Corps. The Skilled and Technical Contests
include: Architectural Drafting Board, Aviation Skills,
C++ Programming, Fire Fighters, Interior Room Design,
Internet Homepage, Machine Drafting Board, Microsoft
Office 97, Qbasic Programming, Radio Broadcast
Production, and Video Production - Creative.
State and National Contests include the categories of:
Action Skills, Leadership, Skilled and Technical, Health
Occupations and Occupational Related plus Demonstration
